Understanding listening and reading texts in a foreign language is always easier if you already understand the context and vocabulary. The topics of importance relating to business and economics discussed in the press are limited and can be best understood by joining the conversation.

For this assignment:

1. Start to acquire the habit of listening to business-related audio texts, as you enjoy doing anyway. Simply listen to business broadcasts whenever you can (daily if possible) take notes about any facts, opinions and ideas that you found interesting to discuss in class. If you encounter any words or expressions that you're unsure about, try to write them down as best you can.


2. Each week choose one recording that seemed most interesting.


3. Then go to this page for entering your part for the Audio Links Page, and then write the following a short one to three sentence summary or comment in the 'comment' section:
