Assignment—Unintended Consequences

Then search the Internet to find a business or economics-related policy or activity with an interesting unintended consequence:

For this you could google   something like '    "unintended consequences" bailout    ' (keep the "unintended consequences in quotes and then add something like bank, advertising, finance, tax, government stimulus or whatever business-related topic you might find interestring).

If you prefer, you could also search "youtube" for the above.

 

Finally write a short text (at least one page, printed and double spaced) giving the following:

• situation - Some background facts, information or an anecdote to introduce a reader to your topic.
• problem - Why some people think something needs (or needed) to be done about this situation.
• solution - A solution proposed by some people to solve this problem.
• unforeseen consequence(s) - What could be (or was) one or more unexpected results of this solution?
