For this assignment you are to choose the stock of a company to add to the class portfolio

First go to the following site : How to choose a stock and read through the page, making notes of the words and expressions which are new to you. For this and the following you should keep a list of the expressions along with a short explanation of what each means.

Then have a look at the stock screeners offered at MSN Money and Yahoo Finance. Try out the screener and also try to figure out what the screening criteria mean. Then limit your screener to two options (a good choice for one of the options is " Avg Analyst Rec:" : "Buy Rating(1)) and select a candidate for your choice. Click on the symbol for the share and then read as much as you need to in order to help you decide. If you like the choice, note the symbol and name of the stock and you're done.
